He Named Me Malala is the story of courageous Pakistani schoolgirl Malala Yousafzai, who survived a Taliban assassination attempt after she dared to speak out against their ban on female education. She went on to be the youngest ever Nobel Peace Prize winner.
Oscar-winning documentarian David Guggenheim (An Inconvenient Truth) deepens our understanding of this incredible young woman's motives and examines the impact of her actions around the world. Using archive footage depicting the harsh way of life in her Swat Valley homelands and interviews with Malala and her family, the audience is given an empathetic and moving portrait of this extraordinary teenager.

Screenings available are available on weekday mornings from 10 November 2015 - 1 January 2016 (starting approx 10.15am) subject to availability.
Running time: 87mins | Cert PG
